Over the Moon

I am over the moon (which planet? I’m not allowed to reveal everything yet!) to have signed another publishing agreement with Enclave, my publishing home for over a decade. They will let me reveal one extremely important thing: The Firebird universe will be expanding! Let me add a broad hint: There will be more than one of my favorite characters at center stage. Finallyto quote C-3PO–“Shutting up now.”
For now.

    Dear Kathy,

Firebird was the first Christian scifi book I ever read, and still my favorite and most recommended. What exciting news!

    Thank you!!!

At Write to Publish this summer, Steve recommended I read Firebird, and I’m so glad he did. Just finished Fusion Fire and downloaded Crown of Fire. Few books are so immersive. Really fantastic job.

I’m late to the party, but this is so exciting! My uncle gifted me the first three books–and I didn’t realize until very recently that there are two more! I’m so excited to read those and the upcoming books when they come out. I have been searching for years for quality Christian sci-fi, and I was over the moon too when I found Firebird.
Not only is it good for Christian sci-fi, it’s one of the best stories I have ever read in any genre. The characters are deep and realistic–like real people, with real feelings, real struggles, and real flaws. The plot is exciting and suspenseful, and the themes are profound. I could go on about this story, but needless to say, I’m excited to know there’s going to be more.
Thank you for sharing the stories God gave you with the world.

Bethany, thank you so much. I’m honored, and I hope you enjoy the new books as much as I am enjoying writing about Firebird and Brennen again.
